Great place for a party, wedding reception, graduation, birthday celebration or just because! They have an upstairs area that sits maybe 100 people and a large dining room. Very clean and comfortable. We were there with friends so we could try several dishes. Food is delicious and service is friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable and serving sizes are good.

Pretty good spot for dim sum! We were hungry and were not going to make our initial brunch spot so we tried this on a whim. The chicken feet was great but we over committed to three orders. The collagen and skin fell off nicely from the bones. The shiu mai could have been better but it meets the expectations. We could have done without the chicken wings as they were quite dry and flavorless. The har gow was wonderful--generous with the shrimp! Overall would definitely come back if in the area. It's in a downtown area of Millbrae and there are some shops to walk to and look at afterwards to digest the food.

For anyone who has grown up in the Bay Area and specifically in South San Francisco Grand Palace has been a fixture for so many decades located on the historical Grand Avenue in SSF. This place can be pretty hard to get into if you're there on a Sunday trying to get dim sum, but the service is quick, you're able to get some of the best classic dim sum dishes like shumai, the roast pork is amazing and for the more adventurous of course there is chicken feet. Wh I like about this place is also the traditional atmosphere and seeing so many families enjoy a special dim sum lunch or dinner. This holds so many different memories not only of growing up but now is an adult being able to come back and continue to enjoy what dishes they serve haven't changed for years, the kind of quality and really great traditional dim sum - a gem in the area if you decide to come by!

Great place for dim sum. Ever have deep-fried calamari where the batter was a shrimp chip? Well, you can here, and it is amazing. When I ordered it and it came out, I was like, I don't know about this, but damn, it was good. I loved the piggy-mango pudding bites, which were very entertaining for the kids. The jung was perfect, and those baby dried shrimp in there were so tasty. I highly recommend coming here for dim sum.
